        The continuum of care at Cypress Glen includes a 30-bed skilled nursing center.  This center, which is for the exclusive use of current Cypress Glen residents, provides skilled nursing services on a short-term, long-term and recuperative basis. Respite care is also included  when and if the need arises.        
      Services in the center include around-the-clock nursing care, three meals a day, daily housekeeping and laundry service. Also included is scheduled transportation to help residents get to and from medical appointments. There is an activity director and social worker dedicated to this division of the Cypress Glen community. Medicare benefits may be used in skilled nursing.
    Each resident in the skilled nursing center has a private room with a seating area and a private bath. There is a dedicated dining room where residents can gather to eat and socialize with their friends and family. There is also a central nursing station which is manned at all times and from which staff can visually see and check on residents. This continuous staffing, which includes a licensed nurse on duty 24 hours a day,  provides peace of mind for residents and their families.
