Residents' Council
The Cypress Glen Residents' Association consists of all independent living residents in the community. It provides a communications link between management and residents and is a conduit for conveying residents' suggestions and concerns. The president of the Residents' Council is Chip Pennington.

CCCR of North Carolina
The Continuing Care Community Residents of North Carolina (CCCR of NC) is a state-wide volunteer non-profit organization of residents living in continuing care retirement communities. Volunteer Activities
Residents of Cypress Glen volunteer their time both on and off the campus. The Ronald McDonald House, Pitt County Memorial Hospital, The United Way, The American Heart Association, the Pitt County School System, East Carolina University and churches of all denominations are just a few of the liaisons between Cypress Glen and the greater Greenville community.
